Chapter 25: Rebirth

“Use Minor Skill: Modify to connect the Realm of Reincarnation on the soul level to every living being ever to be birthed in the universe.”

“Ding! Every living being's soul has been bound to the Realm of Reincarnation. Both those who have already been born, and those who will be born.”

Sometimes, I can't help but marvel at how handy this system is. I barely have to do anything—just tell it what I want, and it handles the rest. It’s almost like having a super-smart AI that doesn’t need to be told twice.

Of course, even though it’s incredibly efficient, it’s still an emotionless machine. It only responds when I give it specific commands.

Without me even having to ask, the system set up the Realm of Reincarnation and opened the doors. Already, thousands of souls have started flowing in.

But here’s the thing: I have no clue where these souls are coming from. I figured that since the universe is still pretty young—less than 500,000 years old—there wouldn’t be too many living beings aside from the ones I created. So where are all these souls coming from?

Maybe they’re arriving from some tiny galaxy I’ve overlooked? Their souls don’t seem very advanced, so that makes sense. How do I know this? Honestly, I’m not entirely sure. It’s just a gut feeling.

You might be thinking, "Why don’t you know where these souls come from? Don’t you know everything that happens inside you?" Well, that’s a bit tricky. While I’m in my Blessed Body, my access to information is limited. The Blessed Body is just a representation of my true form, and only in my true form can I access all the details.

Does that clear things up?

Anyway, once I’m done with all these exciting projects, I’ll have to end my Minor Skill: Possess. At that point, I’ll be able to access a ton of crucial information.

Now, how did I know about the other four galaxies—the Abyss, the Realm of Gods and Demons, the Delta Galaxy, and the Magia Galaxy? Honestly, I’m not sure. They just kind of appeared on my radar, which probably means they’re relatively close to where these new souls are coming from.

And yes, there are definitely some more evolved souls mixed in. They likely come from the four galaxies I mentioned. It would be pretty strange if there weren’t any, given that none of the species are immortal yet.

So far, this test run seems to be going well. I’ve successfully linked the souls to the Realm of Reincarnation, so there’s no immediate need to tweak anything.

What’s next? Should I start working on that library I was thinking about? Or maybe do something else entirely? I could also visit the beings I’ve created after a few centuries. There are so many possibilities, but my motivation is a bit lacking at the moment.

Given how busy I’ve been, it makes sense why I might be feeling less motivated. Before diving into the library project, I think I’ll take a short break and then check in on my creations.
