Chapter 44: Final Touches and Guardians

Chapters

Alright, time to send these artifacts to their galaxies!

With a flick of my wrist, rifts in space open behind each Trial Artifact. Another flick, and the artifacts vanish into their designated rifts. The rifts close up almost immediately, and everything returns to normal in no time.

So, we’ve got the artifacts and the trials set up. What’s next?

I’m not entirely sure. Maybe the LoK could use some guardians or guides?

If I make them from my clones, I’ll be able to keep an eye on everything that happens in there. But honestly, I’m not sure why I’d need to. I created the LoK, so who could possibly damage it?

Right now, it’s just me who could cause any trouble, but it might be a good idea to set something up now rather than forgetting about it later. The old saying, “You can never be too careful,” is true—sometimes. It depends on the situation and whether it’s even possible to be cautious. Since I can, why not?

I mean, a dark horse, like one of those characters from cultivation novels, could show up and potentially cause significant damage to the LoK. Anything is possible, and I’d rather be prepared than not. Although, I could just erase any threats from existence, but where’s the fun in that?

**“Use Minor Skill: Clone to create a million clones with 1/50 of my Blessed Body’s power. Also, connect all of the clones’ minds to mine.”**

To say this is overwhelming is an understatement. There’s no word that can really capture what I’m feeling right now. It’s not uncomfortable or painful, but it’s not exactly pleasant either. It’s somewhere in between—strange, really.

It feels like an extension of my mind, like my consciousness has expanded. It’s odd, considering I’m the universe, but it might be because my consciousness is currently in my Blessed Body, which has some limitations compared to my true form.

But the sight before me is something else. I’m not going to be modest here—seeing so many replicas of myself is pretty incredible. (A/N: Autumn, are you showing signs of narcissism? ಠ_ಠ) (A/N to A/N: Not sure if I used that word correctly... please correct me if I’m wrong.)

Now, I’m debating whether the clones should all look like me or have different appearances. For now, I’ll let them stay as they are, but they don’t really give off a guardian vibe. Maybe they should act more like librarians?

So, with a wave of my hand, each clone gets a pair of glasses, a skirt, and a casual sweater—basically what I’d expect a modern librarian to wear.

Now, is a million clones too many or too few? The LoK is enormous, but considering their strength, a million clones should be more than enough to cover it, right?

Well, if it turns out to be too much, I can always trim the numbers later or find another use for them.
