Chapter 9: Origin Cosmos
[Unknown Cosmos] [Third Person]
Samuru and Iovis find themselves in the middle of a dense forest.
“What is it with Origin and forests?” both Samuru and Iovis wondered aloud.
“Maybe there’s a letter around here somewhere, like before,” suggested Samuru. They both began searching for the letter, and after a few minutes, they found it stapled to a tree. Iovis removed the letter and read it aloud.
“Greetings, Samuru and Iovis,
Opening this letter means that at least one of you is still alive. Though I can see everything, I choose not to. Now, to the point. I have placed you in the smallest and lowest-level forest in this cosmos, meaning there aren’t as many beasts lurking around. However, your chances of surviving an attack are still less than ten percent.
Here’s a little information about this cosmos. This place is called the Divine and Demonic Cosmos. As the name suggests, this is the origin of Divine and Demonic beings. Unlike other cosmoses, all Divine and Demonic beings in this one become Main Gods upon reaching adulthood, which is when they turn 18,000 years old. You can consider this a cultivation cosmos.
There are mortals here, but the size difference is tremendous. For example, it’s like comparing a two-meter-tall human to an ant. The humans haven’t shrunk; it’s just that you’ve grown to your true height. Mortals can transcend their bodies, though this rarely happens. They do not become Gods or Demons but Immortals. The strongest Immortal has the power of a Mid God. I suggest picking up a mortal or two to help with tasks.
That’s all for now.
Sincerely, Origin
P.S. I was born in this cosmos. Also, I’m removing the RPG system for the time being.”

It took them a minute to fully process what they had just heard, especially the last part.
“If Origin was born here, does that mean we can reach his or her level of power if we have enough time?” Iovis asked.
“I believe so!” Samuru exclaimed.
**[Samuru POV]**
“Iovis, I’m going to check the size of this planet,” I said as I began to expand my senses. As my senses continued to extend, the color drained from my face until I reached my limit.
“What the—?! The size of this forest alone is three times the size of our entire universe!” I said, shocked and amazed. “During my search, I found a village of Gods. Before we go there, we should find a pair of mortals to take with us as servants.”
“Yes, we should,” agreed Iovis.
“From what I sensed, every hundred feet or so, there are different countries. Let’s pick a pair nearby,” I suggested. Iovis nodded in agreement.
We both spread our senses again, this time with the intent to find a suitable pair of mortals. Soon, we came upon twins who were on the verge of death. They looked about 15 years old.
“They should do quite well,” I said, and we vanished.

**[Prince Asura POV]**
“How did it come *cough* to this, General Emos?” I asked, blood filling my throat.
“You can blame your father for this,” said the General, grinning. “We might not be able to kill him since he’s at the Great Circle of Core Formation, but we can handle you and your sister, who’s only at Level 8 of Qi Condensation. Now, die!”
“I’m sorry, sister,” I said, a tear rolling down my cheek. I watched as the General’s hand pierced my sister’s dantian, abolishing her cultivation in an instant.
“Now it’s your turn, Young Prince Asura,” said the General as his hand ripped a hole in my stomach, destroying everything in its path and shattering my dantian. “You both will die in a few minutes.”
My consciousness began to fade.
‘Is this the end?’ I thought. ‘I wish my sister could live. Can anyone help her?!’
“Yes, I can help you both, but it will come at a cost,” said one of the figures that appeared.
‘I’ll agree to anything,’ I thought. At that moment, I could have sworn I saw the figure grin.
“Who are—?” the General began, but he vanished before he could finish.
‘Who are they?’ I wondered as I lost consciousness.
**[Iovis POV]**
“I’ll take the Prince as a servant,” I said to Samuru.
“Ah, damn, I was too slow to call him. Ha ha,” Samuru laughed. “I guess I’ll take the Princess.”
I walked over to the Prince, while Samuru approached the Princess. As I looked at the Prince, I noticed he was wearing pajamas and had a gaping hole in his stomach. I waved my hand, and he was instantly restored to perfect health. He awoke immediately.
“Who are you?” he asked, bewildered.
“I am Iovis, a God of Destruction,” I said.
“A G-God!” he stammered, his face paling. He quickly dropped to his knees and bowed. “I’m sorry for my rudeness.”
“It’s fine, ha ha,” I laughed. “For helping you and your sister, you both will serve as our servants.”
“It would be an honor,” he said, glancing at his sister, who was also waking up. He bowed again. “I mean no disrespect, but are you sure you want us as your servants? Our cultivation is extremely low, and our talent is only slightly above average.”
“Yes, you two will do nicely,” I assured him. “What are the cultivation levels for mortals?”
“The cultivation levels are Qi Condensation, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Nascent Soul, Spirit Severing, Dao Seeking, Immortal Realm, Ancient Realm, Dao Realm, and Paragon Realm. The last three are only legends to mortals,” the Prince explained.
“You weren’t kidding when you said your cultivation levels were low, ha ha,” I laughed, noting the Prince’s expression becoming more depressed. “But if you’re going to serve us, we can’t have that. We could just grant you the power of a Paragon, but that would only make you both arrogant. You’re going to start over in cultivation,” I declared.
“But if we start over, it will take us much longer to reach higher levels,” he said, concerned.
“That’s why Samuru will change your bodies and create a pocket dimension where you can cultivate for a thousand years, though in real time it will only be a minute,” I said as his eyes lit up. I looked toward Samuru and asked, “You were thinking the same thing, right?”
“Haha, yes, I’m already ahead of you,” said Samuru.
**[Princess POV]**
‘General Emos, we will have our revenge for what you did to us!’ I vowed silently, glancing up at the God known as Samuru.
**[Samuru POV]**
‘We have a million years, so what are a few days spent helping a mortal or two?’ I mused. ‘Even in a new cosmos, I’m still a God of Creation and Magic, so I should be able to modify their bodies.’
I waved my hand, altering their bodies to my specifications. They were no longer humans but Titans. The Prince, who was once 1.5 meters tall, now stood at 4 meters, as did the Princess. I waved my hand again, creating robes similar to my own. Although I had erased their cultivation, I had enhanced their talent. With another wave, I created a pocket dimension filled with qi and heavenly qi. A portal appeared before them.
“Before you go,” I said, appearing right in front of them. I lifted both hands and touched their foreheads, imparting a cultivation technique far superior to any mortal technique. “Now, go and cultivate for a thousand years. Your progress will depend on your determination.”
“Thank you for this opportunity!” they said in unison, bowing to Iovis and me.
“Now go,” I commanded. They stepped through the portal, and I closed it behind them. I turned to Iovis and asked, “Should we let them tie up their loose ends?”
“I think we should. It will help them focus,” he agreed.
“You’re right,” I said.
After a minute of waiting, I reopened the portal to the pocket dimension. The twins stepped out together.
“What cultivation level did you both reach?” Iovis asked.
They bowed before the Princess spoke, “We’re both at the Spirit Severing level, the highest in the entire empire.”
“That’s wonderful. How long will it take you both to tie up your loose ends?” I asked.
“If you both help us, it will take less than an hour. On our own, it would take at least ten hours,” the Prince replied.
“Alright, you have five hours to settle things,” I said, my tone leaving no room for negotiation.
“Then, if you’ll excuse us,” said the Prince and Princess as they bowed. They soon vanished.
“Let’s watch and see how they handle this situation,” Iovis suggested. We both expanded our senses to observe.
